What's new in CrystalClear™ 1.3.6 SP3
There are a few new features in CrystalClear 1.3.6SP3, as well as many bug fixes and enhancements.
New Features
The new features that are available in CrystalClear 1.3.6SP3 are:
- Added support for AFC11K instrument type.
Bug fixes/Enhancements
The bug fixes/enhancements that are available in CrystalClear 1.3.6SP2 are:
- Enhancements
- Incorporated a Processing suite combo box on Open/New Sample dialog to allow selection of processing algorithm (d*TREK, TwinSolve, FS_PROCESS) for sample to be opened.
- Added configuration file option for not supporting attenuator in AFC8. Attenuator will not be initialized during instrument initialization.
- Added support for pixel jitter correction for R-AXIS II.
- Bug fixes: CrystalClear
- Fixed problem when there are too few peaks in the target resolution shell, the exposure time evaluator would refuse to perform exposure time evaluation for the saturated peaks percentage, even though the latter didn't deal with a resolution shell.
- Adjusted phi by 90 deg for axial photo scans to be processed while in TwinSolve processing mode for the AFC8, AFC9, AFC10, and AFC11 instruments.
- Fixed the generator control script running command to be XgExecuteScript to match the latest generator control application.
- Fixed sporadic mainframe and flowbar repainting problems.
- Fixed crash when saving simple masks for certain R-AXIS images.
- Revised Strategy dialog % completeness default from 100% to 99% for all instrument types.
- Fixed problem with Set Resolution Limits menu item and toolbar button showing the Setup dialog instead of the Set Resolution Limits dialog.
- Fixed problem with d*TREK-specific controls being displayed in Twinsolve processing. The display of these controls are now removed.
- Fixed problem with Rotation End value not properly being adjusted for 2-theta in the d*TREK Strategy dialog. Also fixed problem with erroneous validation message being displayed as a result of the end rotation not being properly adjusted.
- Fixed behavior of Zero omega using phi offset on d*TREK Strategy Advanced dialog. When clicked, this option enforces chi (or kappa) to be zero and disables the chi (or kappa) checks combo box from further selection.
- Fixed problem with CrystalClear crashing after processing while operated in server mode from Director.
- Fixed problem with resolution limits specifications in CrystalClear while operating in server mode from Director.
- Fixed f2plus.dat default file name for AFC012/Saturn 70, AFC11/Saturn70 Left, and AFC11/Saturn70 Right instrument types.
- Fixed problem in spin controls of Overlay and Average image selection dialogs whenever a comma appears in the image number and CrystalClear reports images do not exist.
- Fixed problem in scan table of collection dialogs where if all scans of a schedule are deleted and user then changes to another schedule, CrystalClear crashes
- Fixed problem where CrystalClear tries to connect to generator control if "Allow connection..." is not checked, but "Automatically connect..." is checked.
- Fixed problem with recipe scans constructed when running Director always being set with Molybdenum X-ray wavelength.
- Bug fixes: Instrument servers
- Fixed bug where ranking list wasn't cleared of previous results when direct beam shot analyzed.
- Added resending of command to datum read read X axis if an incorrect number of parameters error is received when datuming the read head after a read. [R-AXIS]
- During a OpenShutterAndWait command, the closing the shutter no longer do a full abort (requiring re-initialization).
- Direct beam shot images are not written with the embedded active mask. A bad pixel in or near the direct beam could cause the direct beam location utility to sliently fail to find the position when the active mask is used.
- Added multiple collision region checks during collection of scans. XML files now support CollisionRegion tag. Added writing of collision XML file in the same directory where images are written. Added additional movement of distance when direct movement between end and start of scans would result in a collision. [AFC/CCD]
- Logs and image files for the various utilities (direct beam shots, etc) are now written to/read from the directory containing the configuration files (or the directory the program starts up in, if not specified), rather than looking for the CrystalClear installation directory.
- Added explicit querying of current hardware positions for crystal goniometer before starting scans. [AFC/CCD]
- Fixed error in assigning data transfer type/axis codes for R-AXIS IV++ with partial chi goniometers. [R-AXIS]
- Added erasing of plate before starting single IP data collection. [R-AXIS]
- Bug fixes: d*TREK
- None reported.
