CrystalClear™ 

CrystalClear 1.4.0 SP1 now available

This version is available to all CrystalClear users that have a current CrystalClear software support contract.

Customers who have previously installed CrystalClear 1.3.6 SP2, 1.3.6 SP3, or 1.4.0 ra1 should download and install version 1.4.0 SP1.

Before you download the software, you will need the following information:

• The username and password sent (via e-mail) to your organization's contact person.
• The serial number from one of your dongles.
• The name and e-mail address of your organization's contact person.

If you have not received the username and password information, you can request the download information. Once we receive your request, we will send the information via e-mail to the contact person listed in the request. If you have all of the information listed above, you can download version 1.4.0 SP1 from the Web site.

How to obtain CrystalClear 1.4.0 SP1

An e-mail notification of the release has been sent out to the contact person for each organization. Contained in the notification is information on how to download the release from the Web site. If you did not receive e-mail notification of the release, or have misplaced the information, you can request the download information be resent.

If you would prefer to obtain your copy on CD-ROM, you can request a CD-ROM be sent, instead of downloading it from the Web site.

E-mail notification

Support for e-mail notification for data collection completion and bug reports was added to 1.3.6 SP0. In order to use this functionality, you will need to download and install the Utilities program.

Generator control

Generator control support was reintroduced in 1.3.6SP0, with support added for the FR-E SuperBright™ and MicroMax™-007 and MicroMax-007 HF. Added functionality in CrystalClear allows for generator control after completion of data collection, such as powering off the generator or reducing the power settings. In order to use the integrated generator control features, you will need to download and install the JXg program.

Note: By default, when running JXg, the generator must be connected to serial port 1. If you want to use a different port to control the generator, then you will need to edit the xg1.lsp file in the plugins/rigaku.ssi.xg_1.1.0/lispserver subdirectory in the installation directory. Replace the line:
