Temperature programmed desorption (TPD) type R
For characterization of catalyst material, it is needed to examine the adsorption state by detecting components to be desorbed when a reaction gas is circulated through a sample with heat applied. Required also is to check the oxidation and reduction characteristics of the sample and look into the reactivities of substances adsorbed on the sample surface.
The TPD type R has realized high-precision analysis of desorbed gas by adopting a gas circulation type holder and a skimmer type gas sampling system.
Features
- The skimmer method utilizing a double orifice structure can also detect an intensely reactive gas with high sensitivity (patent pending)
- An effective gas-solid reaction is realized by a gas circulation type holder construction
- Accurate thermometry is based on advanced temperature control techniques cultivated in thermal analysis
- The TIC scan mode designed to detect every gas evolved assures also the detection of an unexpectedly evolved gas with high sensitivity
