Service Bench Technician

DIVISION: Rigaku – The Woodlands
POSITION: Service Bench Technician
REPORTS TO: Quality Manager and Technical Support Manager.

Summary
Evaluate, Repair and Refurbish Rotating Anode Assemblies to factory specifications per Rigaku process and procedures, Mechanical and Electrical repair of Laboratory Analytical Equipment, Timely and Efficient completion of these duties will play a key role in driving the success of the Rigaku Service Group. This position will be expected to interact with the Service, Shipping and Manufacturing departments on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 4 years of experience
  • The right candidate will be mechanically inclined with a high mechanical aptitude
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical School Diploma a plus
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Must be able stand for long periods, bend, squat, reach, and or lift up to 50 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate, Repair and Refurbish Rotating Anode Assemblies
  • Operate Anode Balancing Equipment
  • Operate Manual Mill and Lathe
  • Evaluate Mechanical and or Electrical Laboratory Analytical Equipment for Repair
  • Evaluate, Repair and Refurbish Cryogenic Laboratory Analytical Equipment
  • Other Duties as Assigned
