Center of Excellence

Rigaku is at the forefront of analytical and industrial x-ray instrumentation technology. With hundreds of major innovations to its credit, Rigaku and its subsidiary companies are world leaders in the fields of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry.

Rigaku is planning to establish a "Center of Excellence" for EDXRF analyzers within the global Rigaku organization.

Rigaku has selected central Texas as the location of this activity because of its rich history as the EDXRF development and manufacturing capital of USA.

We have approximately 20 positions to be filled in the areas of production, R&D, customer service, sales & marketing, applications, logistics, and finance. Ideal candidates should have proven skills and a track record of success in the analytical instrument industry.

Education and Experience

R&D and application scientist should have advanced degrees in the physical sciences or engineering, in addition to 10+ years of EDXRF experience. Production, logistics, and customer service applicants should have 5+ years of experience in the analytical instrument industry. Sales and marketing applicants should have 5+ years of experience in the analytical x-ray industry.

Mid-Atlantic regional sales representative

Rigaku is at the forefront of analytical and industrial x-ray instrumentation technology. With hundreds of major innovations to its credit, Rigaku and its subsidiary companies are world leaders in the fields of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for capital equipment sales of Rigaku XRD, XRF, Protein and Small Molecule X-ray Crystallography, and Protein Crystallization Automation systems in the Mid-Atlantic territory of the United States.

The ideal candidate should have proven skills and a track record of success in technical sales. Strong knowledge relating to the field of X-ray instrumentation is desired.

Job Requirements 

Must be knowledgeable in the technical sales process with sufficient sales tactics to effectively communicate and sell the merits of Rigaku instruments versus competitors to our existing and prospective customers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, work independently, and be self-motivated. Computer literacy is required with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs as well as Lotus Notes CRM database. Travel within territory and travel outside of territory for trade shows and product demonstrations up to 50-70% of time. 

Education and Experience

A Bachelors degree in the Physical Sciences or Engineering is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years sales experience in the analytical equipment industry.
