Kappa ST HomeLab™
The Kappa ST HomeLab is a turnkey, low-maintenance home X-ray diffraction system that enables screening and data collection for protein crystal samples. The Kappa ST HomeLab was specifically designed to provide structure determination and crystal screening capabilities to scientists looking for a low-maintenance, small footprint solution. Perfect for structural biology or biochemistry groups, teaching centers, and crystallographers needing additional capacity, now every group can have macromolecular X-ray crystal structure capability at home. Built-in upgradeability assures that if the needs of your lab change in the future, there is preservation of your instrument investment. At any time, one of Rigaku's rotating anode generators may be substituted to upgrade the system. No other compact diffraction instrument provides this level of performance and adaptability at such an affordable price.
The Kappa ST HomeLab comes equipped with a sensitive Saturn 944+ CCD detector mounted on a flexible Kappa goniometer. The Saturn detector and goniometer are fully integrated with your Rigaku generator and optic to allow high resolution data collection on your samples. The X-stream™ 2000 low temperature system maintains the crystals at cryogenic temperatures without the need for a house supply of liquid nitrogen.
