Petroleum analysis by XRF
For the quantification of everything from heavy elements in crude oil, to additive packages in lubricants, to sulfur in gasoline and diesel, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a well established technique for the petroleum and petrochemical industries. Because of new sulfur regulations for road fuels, Rigaku now offers a dedicated low-cost benchtop WDXRF sulfur analyzer: the Mini-Z Sulfur Analyzer.
