ZSX Primus IV training: General Scope

RIGAKU Europe SE offers XRF application training classes at the new applications laboratory in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt airport, Germany.

Primus IV courses are scheduled for 3.5 days.

The trainings focus on the practical use of Rigaku spectrometers and software. The sessions will mainly take place at the instrument and well selected examples and exercises will be used to make you familiar with basic principles and functionality.

The courses give an overview of the ZSX Software, cover on the one hand the standardless SQX-Analysis and approaches to refining SQX results. On the other hand, strategies are explained how to develop quantitative analysis methods (calibrations) considering the respective analytical situation (line overlaps, matrix & preparation effects etc.).

Depending on the participants’ analytical requirements, special topics will be explained during the course on request (e.g. spot analysis & mapping, thin film, filters etc.)

Topics like PHA adjustment, drift correction, monitoring the instrument and performing control measurements will be discussed. Utilities and additional software functions (chemical compounds, data backup…) are shown as well.

Who Should Attend

Operators, engineers, research scientists and university students in university and operators of the ZSX Primus IV spectrometer supplied by Rigaku.

Rigaku will provide the training venue, printed training notes, light refreshment and a course certificate.
