Account Manager, Account Services, Corporate Marketing Division
The job of a CMD Account Manager involves keeping track of Sales targets, including sales amount, market target achievements and service sales gross margin in strong coordination with the sales teams. The applicant should be well-informed with local as well as overseas market shares, situation and competition management, and ensure high level customer satisfaction.
A successful candidate should possess a bachelor/master’s degree in marketing, design, mass communication OR any related fields with 5+ years of effective sales, customer service and/or marketing experience in scientific, analytical and industrial instrumentation. Conversely, candidates with an extensive experience in analytical device sales, research, or other areas without marketing experience who may be interested in the position will also be considered.
Ability to develop and present materials to clients (business units) and sales teams, high level of enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity, proven verbal and written communication skills needed in working with clients of different seniorities, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and has the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently while traveling and in a team environment. Experience in project management is considered as a big plus.
Specific Work Elements
Managing clients (Rigaku business units) and accounts, building and maintaining client relationships to ensure business growth, analyzing business practices, challenges, goals, requirements and needs of clients to propose or revise products or services, and working with different departments to transition accounts smoothly. Senior account service managers may be required to lead a team or conduct regular progress meetings with certain departments or teams. Knowledge in analytical device, especially in X-ray diffraction, fluorescence, and/or similar technologies is key to a successful execution of tasks required. The location of work is primarily in The Woodlands, Texas, but remote commuting is also considered, on a case-to-case basis, provided that occasional in person meetings at this location is acceptable.
