Customer Service Administrator (The Woodlands, TX)

DIVISION:                     Rigaku Americas Corporation (The Woodlands, TX)

POSITION:                   Customer Service Administrator

REPORTS TO:             Service Administration Manager        

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Administrator will support the assigned department with various administrative tasks and functions (filing, correspondence, assist with phone calls, etc.). 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None


  • Provide quotes to customers.
  • Respond to customer correspondence.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Review purchase orders to ensure all applicable information is accurate and correct.
  • Prepare invoices, ensuring proper and timely updating in database has occurred.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Must have strong computer skills with experience with the following software: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Syteline or another ERP system is plus.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization. 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of customer service experience in an administrative support role required.
  • Some experience with the product or service to which the administrator will be assigned preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
