The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in conjunction with Rigaku, would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at a seminar and workshop on X-ray microscopy. This University of Illinois-Rigaku event will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in The Beckman Institute.
X-ray microscopy is a non-destructive 3D imaging technique and has become one of the most useful tools in materials science and medicine in recent years. In this seminar, you will learn the latest advances in X-ray microscopy from the top level innovators in the field. You can also participate in the workshop to learn the basics of X-ray microscopy and have hands-on lab experience.
Jonathan Dusting of 4DX – "Next Generation Functional Lung Imaging"
Joseph P. Neilly of AbbVie, Inc. – "X-ray Microscopy of Crystals in Amorphous Solid Dispersions"
Mariana Kersh of The Beckman Institute – "Microstructural Analyses of Bone and Their Relation to Musculoskeletal Biomechanics"
Aya Takase of Rigaku – "High Resolution X-ray CT for Low Z Materials"
