Direct structure determination of agrochemical metabolites from concentrated HPLC fractions

Structure identification and toxicity assay of agrochemical metabolites generated in environment and crops are urgent problems for food safety. However, the structure determination of agrochemical metabolites has been difficult because of their scarce amount. A current single crystal X-ray diffractometer facilitates the structure determination of agrochemical metabolites from purified HPLC fraction including a microgram scale amount of them.
