Rigaku Analytical Devices presents latest handheld chemical detection technology at NGAUS 140th Conference & Exhibition

Rigaku Progeny ResQ 1064 nm handheld Raman analyzer is featured at National Guard Association of the United States Conference & Exhibition

New Orleans, LA, August 24, 2018 – Rigaku Corporation is pleased to announce that Rigaku Analytical Devices, a leading provider of innovative handheld Raman spectrometers, is presenting its chemical threat analyzer at the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) General Conference & Exhibition. The 140th Conference takes place August 24-27, 2018 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition is the largest event for National Guard officers from 50 states and U.S. territories. More than 4,000 professionals will be in attendance from the Guard and industry. Rigaku is presenting its latest instrumentation at Booth: 1819.

Featured at the event is the Rigaku Progeny ResQ handheld 1064 nm Raman analyzer. The Progeny ResQ analyzer provides emergency responders, law enforcement agencies and the military with a comprehensive tool for chemical identification, CBRNe detection, and narcotics classification in a fast and simple handheld form. Its 1064 nm Raman advantage provides the unique capability to measure colored materials in bulk or through colored packaging without fluorescence interference. In addition, Progeny ResQ is the first field-ready handheld Raman tool to provide both bulk and trace analysis in seconds with the newly released QuickDetect mode. This provides users with automated colorimetrics to identify residues or non-visible amounts.
