皮肤角质层损伤测定

人类皮肤表层由基底层、棘层、颗粒层和角质层组成,它重复新陈代谢的周期为28天(图1)。皮肤表层的角质层发挥重要作用,是保护皮肤免受外界损伤和保湿的屏障功能。通过显示角质层的结构如不可或缺的层状结构,进而研究美容产品和医药产品的有效性。周期层状结构的间距长于一般结晶系统的晶格间距,因此衍射线出现在小角区域。

NANO-Viewer可以高灵敏度测量小角区域,它是一个可以分子水平分析结构的X射线结构测定仪器。

如果角质层健康,层状结构的衍射线被确认达到了第五阶(图2)。但是如果角质层暴露在大量紫外线或其他危险环境下,它将失去屏障功能及保湿能力。从而角质层的结构被破坏,层状结构间距差异变大,角质层遭受损害后无法检测到清晰的衍射线。
